Should A Tennis Player Born With Male and Female Anatomy Compete Against Men or Women?
This incident here is raising a little debate…
There is a pro-tennis player born with both sex organs who identifies herself as a female. She has chosen to compete against women. Coaches say that it is unfair because her opponents are no match against her; that her strength and ability is far greater.
What do you think about this?

OMG I asked that question because of the same article, isn’t that funny?
I think there is obviously a physical advantage, but there isn’t much more than that. I think it is okay for them to play, I mean she isn’t doing much harm. After all she is ranked in the 600′s. I think it would be great if she improved to the top 100. I think in a changing world the WTA needs something, new to you know, entertain. I think it’s a good way of it.
I dont see what their problem is. She doesnt look any bigger or more muscular than many other female tennis players.
The dominant genes in Sarah Gronert is female, which is how she has been living all her life. So to have to maim herself to please others and tennis could cause her more harm than had she kept her parts. She doesn’t look male at all.
Remember all that hype about Amelie Mauresmo. "She hits like a man", "She should be playing on the men’s team" and she is only a lesbian. No extra body parts. She almost quit tennis.
Hopefully Sarah Gronert will be pretty good. We need more up and coming female players. The ones we got are such prima donnas or just plain SUCK!
Well, it’s hard to say. Some would say she has an unfair advantage, but I think it’s ok. I mean, if she didn’t play for the WTA, then who would she play for? If the records say that she is female, then she should play.
At # 619 she obviously is not dominating women’s tennis. The easy way to tell her sex is to test her chromosome makeup. If she is XY, she is male, and if XX, she is female.
