Tightening of the uterus?
I’m 35 weeks and my throughout the day for about the past 3-4 days about 3 times an hour my uterus gets real tight. I don’t know if its a Braxton Hicks contraction or what, I know its not the real thing because they arent increasing or getting any worse. It basically just feels like she rises to the surface of my belly and balls herself up. It doesn’t hurt AT ALL! No cramping what so ever.. it’s just tightening and then releasing. Has anyone had this? If so, what was it? p.s.- it gets soo hard that it presses against my bladder and makes me have to urinate. And she moves during them, kicking me and sending a sharp stabbing pain through my vaginal area, almost similar to a pain that you would get with a bladder infection. (but I know its not that)

It all sounds like Braxton Hicks too me. No pain, no consistency. I am sure you are fine. This is just what the body does. If in doubt just speak with your DOC (which I am sure you will)
They have alot of good articles on Braxton Hicks on the net as well
sounds like braxton hicks.
they are braxton hick contraction, your body just getting ready for true labor
I am also 35 weeks pregnant, due with my third child. These are braxton hicks contractions. Braxton hicks can hurt or they cannot. I get this ALL the time where it feels like she just floats to make a hardness or something and yes, she does kick at the same time a lot and cause funny feelings everywhere in the body. The last few weeks, you will notice really strange things. I have noticed all these weird things that I never got, so dont be alarmed. Unless they hurt, they arent real, but you know that already. But yes, when your stomach gets hard like that, they are your body preparing for the big day! GOD BLESS!
I get that a lot as well… it is your uterus "practicing". Sometimes mine are so hard it takes my breath away..keep track of them just in case Good Luck and congratulations!!!
