Does your cervix and the outer edge of your vagina tighten when you get pregnant?
I would like to know how soon this happens and what it feels like. I suspect I may be pregnant from last weekend, which would only be about a week ago, but my vagina feels slightly closed, like its clenched around something. I dont have any STDs, but I have heard that the cervix gets tighter during pregnancy and I was wondering if anybody could give me some information.

My cervix didn't tighten but it did get bigger and bulge outwards into my vaginal canal. It was bigger than it normally was, kind of like your cervix feels right before you start your period only it was that way all the time. Swollen would be the best way I could describe it.
I am 4 weeks pregnant. My cervix feels the same as it does in the non-ovulatory position. Cervical changes are not a good indication of pregnancy as they can occur at any point during pregnancy.
Yes your cervix closes completely but you won't be able to tell.
your cervix closes while pregnant. from what i've noticed ur vagina expands do to the extra blood flow. and as far you think you might be pregnant its too soon to tell other than with a blood test let alone start experienceing symptoms
