Do anyone know about and/or reccommend vaginoplasty- a cosmetic surgical procedure to tighten the vagina?

I went for consultation and I am scheduled for a vaginolasty tomorrow morning. This procedure cost ,000 and is not covered by insurance because it is an elective procedure. The MD told me the the normal vagina size is 2 finger breaths. He said that I, however, have 4 finger breaths in diameter. I have sustain a rip or torn vagina due to some trauma over 20 years ago. I am now 39, and soon to be the big 40 on the 4th of July . Recently on the internet , I found out about some natural herbs that supposed to tighten the vagina naturally. I am having second thoughts on whether I should stick with the natural herbs and Kegal exercises or go ahead with the surgery. ( Yesterday I spoke with a woman my age with 2 children who had this surgery a few months ago with this same surgeon and she's very satisfied. She also said another woman who had it gave her good report before she did it . She said it has improved her sex life. What if I decide to have children . Any suggestions?

I would really think about this. If its big then get a guy thats built bigger. Is it really worth 500 at age 40? I am not sure it is. I am 29 and had a cut so my baby wouldnt tear me and I I dont think I would. Did you ask the doctor what the effects of kids would be? You might retear hon and it could be worse. I would really think and pray about this. I am guessing if your asking u arent sure its right and in your heart you know the answer. A guy should like you not your vagina.good look!

Oh good lord. Use a vibrator during sex to tighten the vagina and save the $5,000, continue your exercises, etc.

Only you know if this surgery is necessary for you. I've had 5 children and I've tried kegals and tightening creams; they did not work for me. My vaginal muscles were severely torn during child birth and were not repaired postpartum. I opted to have vaginoplasty after trying all other options. I'm 3 weeks post op. I was not prepared for the pain I had after the surgery. Giving birth naturally felt less painful. If you do decide to have this surgery make sure you take at least a week off from work and stay away from thong undergarments. Best of luck to you!
