sexual health question?

i’m a 32 year old woman, with 2 children (4yrs and 8 months), and a 36 year old husband (he’s like having 3 more 4 year olds!).

my question is ….. is it common to have a high sexual desire than your male partner/spouse? i guess i was under the impression that males are usually ready to go at the drop of a hat… i’m rarin’ to go all the time and my husband well lets just say i end up spending more time with battery operated devices (i made him an appointment today to see about blue pills!).

  1. Totally normal. Women are at their sexual peak in their early 30′s (you) and men are at their sexual peak in the early 20′s. Seems we’re never at a balance! You should talk to your husband and tell him how you feel.

women are in their sexual prime in their 30′s where men have hit theirs at 18 and are well past it by 36. it’s normal, plus, men are lazy before horny!

Its not that uncommon, especially at your age. Women reach there sexual peak in their 30s, men in their 20s. Just buy some rechargeables!

  4. It’s normal, unfortunately. Everyone’s sex drive is different, it isn’t unusual for a woman to have a higher sex drive.

  5. acctually what i heard once is women after having children have extra! hormones.. lol its completely normal maybe try switching stuff up in bed make it like the first time you guys did it make him fall in love with the idea of making love to you again!

    goodluck

  6. Ive read that mens desire to have sex is fueled by his environmental surroundings, and his mental well being at the time…not like if hes crazy or anything, but if hes mentally exhausted he might not want to. I went through this phase for awhile with a boyfriend. Girls got needs to! I would try buying some hot lingerie and pouncing on him…the surprise of it should get him rarin to go!

Well how often does he want sex?
I have a higher sexual desire than my partner and can’t wait for sex. I think a lot of women do. The only reason guys have a reputation for being higher with their sexual desires is because of testosterone in their younger years. I wouldn’t worry about it, but I suppose there are things you can do if you need sex from him so much :) hehe

  8. maybe his side chick is wearin him down

It happens, but I don’t know that it’s the norm. Either partner may feel significant stress from raising children, work, etc. that they may be too exhausted to want sex.

Blue pills don’t help with libido per se, though if he’s having hang ups because of erectile dysfunction, that might help him feel more confident & willing to have sex. As of yet, there is no (FDA approved) medicine to address libido other than testosterone (thyroid meds can revive libido too if someone has a sluggish thyroid). Men of all ages can end up with low testosterone & low libido, as lack of sleep, excess body fat, overexercise, lack of exercise, paint thinners, a low fat diet, etc.can lower testosterone. Maybe he should have this checked so that he address the cause of low libido.
