have a question regarding vaginal and rectal pressure please answer?

40 weeks pregnant and seen the doctor today. Only 1 cm, and had bloody show this am and lots of mucus since then with occasional streaks of brown and red blood. Doctor sent me home after hospital visit. Having lots of pressure periodically tonight and some occasional back back pain and the tightening of abdomen. Just called doctor’s answering service 5 minutes ago. Just wondering if any of you experienced that when you were truly in labor. Did not want to call my doctor but just want to make sure

  3. I really knew when I was in labor when the contractions were so bad that I couldn’t find any comfort. I tried a warm bath and anything else I could think of to make it go away and it was still constant. When it wouldn’t go away is when I knew for sure I had to go to the ER.

yes and I had nausea and vomiting and I was in labor

  5. You are starting labor. Your baby is pushing down on your pelvic getting in position for birth. Your back pain is probably the start of back labor, If it gets to where you can not sit or lie down comfortably go to the hospital to be checked. Because you would be having back labor. Or if your pains get worse in your vaginal area go to the hospital to be checked. It is always better safe than sorry.

  6. Congratulations you are in labor!!!
