Are teachers having sex with male students really that serious for their mental health?
Recently there have been many accounts with teachers and students having sexual relations and yet another one has surfaced. No lets look at this, these young men are in high school and having sexual relations with their teachers. I know when I was in high school many teachers were appealing to me but only could dream of this happening. From a guys perspective high school boys havign sex with an older women is a great experience for a man and I really dont see it as being that big of a problem. Now dont get me wrong that if the kid is in middle school or elementary this is 100% wrong. There is the fact that in high school most boys are already experimenting in sexual relations so why not have them learn from an experienced women? It is obviously against the law and the law should be acted upon but I truely think this has no affect on the youngs mans mental health. After all he just accomplished what most young men can only dream of. I want to hear your opinions, guys and gals.

I don’t think that an older male teen in H.S. is negatively affected by having sex with an older women to include a teacher.
It’s about being PC. There are big differences between H.S. girls and boys but we live in a society which wants us all to have a gender of "neutral" instead of male and female.
While I don’t promote any female teacher getting "boffed" by any male student should it happen the teacher should be punished by having her teaching certificate revoked for one year and no jail time.
It’s a sexual conquest for any H.S. teen male to "boof" his teacher and I doubt there are any negative psychological consequences for him.
This has been going on for many decades and nothing was ever made of it as we know that it doesn’t hurt H.S. boys should they "make it" with a teacher.
Man, I wish some of my teachers hit on me, I would be hittin it everyday after class!!!
It has more to do with the fact that the teacher is ‘in loco parentis’ – in a position of trust and responsibility over that student.
It’s equivalent to your boss pressuring you to have sex and implying your job depends on it – your teacher controls your grades – only it’s worse, because in high school you’re also a minor.

I agree that it wouldnt affect their mental health. For most high school guys, they wouldnt think of it as a bad thing at all, except that its wrong because its their teacher (which may make it more exciting). The fact is, however, that MOST high school students are minors (under 18) and having sexual relationships with them is considered statuatory rape, however much fun it may be. Thats why the teachers are getting into trouble. In addition to the fact that they hold a certain amount of professionalism as a teacher over the student and they should demonstrate that professionalism in every way relating to school.
